From Jasper Fforde’s “Canadian Dragonslayer Competition,” wherein entrants were asked to “send me a picture of one of my previous books (or DS1, if you like) in a typically Canadian setting, or with a strong Canadian flavour.” Amid all the maple syrup, hockey sticks and Tim Hortons logos, something a little more thoughtful appeared.
